FIELD EXCURSIONS
The field trips take place on the Monday prior to the start of the conference and are not included in the registration fee and delegates must book and pay for the tour when registering to attend the conference. Find more information about field excursions HERE
- Field trip 1 – Freshwater Tour – R 485 per person (lunch and refreshments included)
- Field trip 2 – Hermanus Tour – R 825 per person (lunch and refreshments included)
POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS
The post conference workshops take place on Friday, 13 September 2024 and are not included in the registration fees and delegates must book and pay for the workshop they wish to attend, when registering to attend the conference. Find more information about workshops HERE

REGISTRATION FEES AND PAYMENT
Registration fees are indicated on the registration form and are to be paid in advance in order to guarantee your place at the Conference. IMPORTANT – on registering the delegate will automatically receive a confirmation and invoice with the bank details.

- Registration fees are indicated on the registration form and are to be paid in advance in order to guarantee your place at the congress.
- Please ensure that the correct information is provided for the invoice when registering.
- An automated invoice is generated using the address details provided.
- Once the invoice is issued we are unable to make any changes.
- Payment options: EFT and payment via Payfast – (VISA and MASTERCARD)
- Bank fees are for the delegates own account.

(a) credit card (online) or
- Please inform your bank of the amount you have authorised the Aquaculture Association of Southern Africa(AASA) to debit your credit card to ensure they release the funds.
- Refresh your browser if you experience difficulty when making a credit card payment.
(b) EFT / bank transfer.
- Proof of payment must be sent to the Conference Organisers (confetal@iafrica.com) for the registration to be processed.
- Please ensure that all payments make clear reference to the delegate being paid for using the Invoice number as reference when making the EFT/bank transfer. Failure to do so could result in your payment not being identified in the bank account and your registration we will not be able to confirm your registration.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Please note that neither AASA nor Conferences et al (event organiser), are responsible for cancellation of attendance at the Conference for any personal reasons, and no exceptions to the refund policies given below will be made.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted to the Conference Organiser (Conferences et al) in writing.
REFUNDS POLICY
- For cancellations received prior to 1 August 2024, the full registration fee will be refunded less an administration fees of R350.00 per registration.
- From 2 August 2024 registrations will be considered final and no refunds will be made.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the Conference.
PRIVACY CLAUSE
Information collected in respect of the proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be used for the purposes of planning the Conference. It will also be used to produce an attendee list including Delegates’ and registered Trade delegate details. Please notify the Conference Organiser should you wish to have your details omitted from the delegate list.

All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold the AASA Conference and to present the programme as scheduled under circumstances that assure the comfort and safety of the delegates.
The host of this event, AASA, the sponsors, the Conference Organisers, Conferences et al, Stellenbosch University(venue) and the service providers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property, injury or death for the duration of the Conference or arrangements made on behalf of Conference attendees, for activities before or after the Conference.
